PMP is a globally recognized professional credential that demonstrates a high degree of competence in project management. A professional must have at least 4500 hours of project management experience, meet specific educational requirements and agree to adhere to a code of professional conduct BEFORE sitting for an extensive 4 hour examination designed to objectively assess and measure a candidate’s ability to apply project management knowledge according to the Project Management Institute (PMI).  PMI was founded in 1972.

The CISSP is a globally recognized professional credential that demonstrates competence in the ten areas of security practices including: Access Control, Application Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, Cryptography, Information Security and Risk Management, Legal Regulations Compliance and Investigations, Operations Security, Physical (Environmental) Security, Security Architecture and Design,  Telecommunications and Network Security  A candidate must pass an extensive 6 hour examination to earn a CISSP.  It is recognized by ANSI as an ISO Standard (17024:2003).

The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a globally adopted standard that defines the effective delivery and management of IT services. It provides a maturity path for IT delivery that is not based on technology and it has quickly become a widely accepted solution for effective IT service delivery and management. The ITIL Foundation certification is a globally recognized professional credential.
