Don Philmlee has worked with lawyers and legal technology since 1985.  He has provided technology consulting and assistance to several hundred law firms ranging in size from under 5 to over 2000 users all over the United States and overseas.

Don has worked with law firms nationwide to assess their technology, staff, procedures and processes, manage projects, perform security audits (policy reviews, penetration testing, and network assessment), IT staffing audits, and technology troubleshooting.

He has a broad range of experience and expertise working with law firms in many aspects of emerging and useful technology. Don owned a respected legal consulting group and prior to that was responsible for product introduction with one of the largest providers of computer systems to law firms. Over the last twenty years, he has been responsible for over 500 technology installations.

Don is a frequent speaker on law office technology and its use and actively participates in conferences and meetings for ILTA (LawNet), Bar associations, the Association of Legal Adminstrators (ALA) and other legal groups. Don has also authored multiple articles on law firm technology that have appeared numerous publications.  He is also a member of the editorial board of the Thompson-West publication Practice Innovations.
